About the role:
A highly rewarding opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator!
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a range of technical specialist advice and support to ensure the optimum usability and operational efficiency of Box Hill Institute’s LMS, encompassing Moodle LMS, Echo Video, Turnitin and MS 365 tools. The position will work closely with the Technology Solutions Team and ensure all work is conducted according to BHI processes.
The LMS Administrator supports and administers the configuration, enhancement and efficient use of our LMS using system analysis, design, development, and investigation whilst ensuring timely escalation of technical problems or performance/scalability issues. The position will ensure the integrity of the system is maintained by regular monitoring, resolving issues, managing records, developing processes and creating and distributing monthly reports.
This position supports the effective use of BHI resources and initiatives to ensure sound technical backend for educational design to support the implementation of engaging, effective, and standardised blended learning courseware, assessment material, and learning technologies.
About You:
Qualifications
• A degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of relevant qualification, training and extensive experience.
Expertise
1. Moodle LMS: Substantial specialist experience and knowledge to manage, administer and maintain the system.
2. Structured Query Language (SQL) Experience: Demonstrated experience using SQL to generate complex reports and analysis of data from various systems.
3. Student Management System: Experience and expertise in use and access with the ability to provide subject matter expert advice and support.
