With such ambitious goals, we are now recruiting for a Learning Manager to focus on delivering a learning culture that meets our current and future capability needs and drives the growth of our people. The role is a full-time permanent position based in Barangaroo, Sydney and supports both the Australia and Asia business, although support of Asia will be largely virtual.
Reporting directly into the Head of Talent for the Southern Hemisphere, this role is part of the broader Talent and Wellbeing Centre of Excellence (COE) within People & Culture and is responsible for the development and delivery of the learning strategy across the Australia and Asia regions.
Key responsibilities include:
Accountability for the implementation of the L&D catalogue; either supporting the delivery and/or delivering where required to meet the organisational strategic objectives and goals
Working with vendors to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes, assessing value for money and impact on individual learning needs
Developing and maintaining innovative and forward-thinking development solutions and resources, which include blended learning, when required to meet organisational needs
Ensuring effective management of all programmes, including scheduling, reporting, feedback and documenting
Actively communicate offerings and drive engagement with L&D initiatives using diverse and interesting mediums
Facilitating learning/designing learning materials to support the rollout of key learning interventions for all employees
Proactively measuring the continued effectiveness of learning activities, reviewing learning solutions and the assessment of the ROI for the business
Proactively recommending and developing creative/new solutions for driving the L&D agenda forward, challenging the way things have been done before
Working closely with the Northern Hemisphere Learning Manager and Talent COE colleagues to drive a cohesive, consistent learning offering globally
About you:
Demonstrable knowledge and track record in designing, delivering and managing the delivery of blended learning solutions and programmes at all levels within a business, including virtually
Ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels of the organisation
Strong facilitation skills and experience of delivering development in-person and online
Experience of evaluating programmes and putting in place effective measures to assess impact
Strong project management skills, paired with problem solving and analytical capability
Proactivity and creativity
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Experience delivering L&D initiatives across both Australia and Asia (desirable)
Experience with adult learning theories and methodologies (desirable)
