Job description

We believe that our people’s capability will define our future. The Talent Centre of Excellence team focus on building readiness for whatever the future holds. Our role is to influence and guide talent through the organisation, create different perspectives and help people navigate and develop for the future.

With such ambitious goals, we are now recruiting for a Learning Manager to focus on delivering a learning culture that meets our current and future capability needs and drives the growth of our people. The role is a full-time permanent position based in Barangaroo, Sydney and supports both the Australia and Asia business, although support of Asia will be largely virtual.

Reporting directly into the Head of Talent for the Southern Hemisphere, this role is part of the broader Talent and Wellbeing Centre of Excellence (COE) within People & Culture and is responsible for the development and delivery of the learning strategy across the Australia and Asia regions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountability for the implementation of the L&D catalogue; either supporting the delivery and/or delivering where required to meet the organisational strategic objectives and goals

  • Working with vendors to design, deliver and evaluate training programmes, assessing value for money and impact on individual learning needs

  • Developing and maintaining innovative and forward-thinking development solutions and resources, which include blended learning, when required to meet organisational needs

  • Ensuring effective management of all programmes, including scheduling, reporting, feedback and documenting

  • Actively communicate offerings and drive engagement with L&D initiatives using diverse and interesting mediums

  • Facilitating learning/designing learning materials to support the rollout of key learning interventions for all employees

  • Proactively measuring the continued effectiveness of learning activities, reviewing learning solutions and the assessment of the ROI for the business

  • Proactively recommending and developing creative/new solutions for driving the L&D agenda forward, challenging the way things have been done before

  • Working closely with the Northern Hemisphere Learning Manager and Talent COE colleagues to drive a cohesive, consistent learning offering globally

About you:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and track record in designing, delivering and managing the delivery of blended learning solutions and programmes at all levels within a business, including virtually

  • Ability to build strong relationships and interface effectively with all levels of the organisation

  • Strong facilitation skills and experience of delivering development in-person and online

  • Experience of evaluating programmes and putting in place effective measures to assess impact

  • Strong project management skills, paired with problem solving and analytical capability

  • Proactivity and creativity

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience delivering L&D initiatives across both Australia and Asia (desirable)

  • Experience with adult learning theories and methodologies (desirable)

In return, you will be joining a high performing and supportive team. You will be rewarded with learning opportunities, an opportunity to get exposure to leaders within the property industry, while being supported with flexible working to drive your performance.

If you feel this position is suited to your skills, experience and career aspirations, please apply on the link now.
