St Anthony’s Family Care (SAFC) located at Croydon is a not-for-profit organisation which provides a range of services with a focus on children and young people with disabilities.
We are currently seeking a full time Director/Manager to oversee and lead our Figtree Earling Learning Centre.
As the Director/Manager we are seeking an individual who will model excellent leadership to bring out the best in our Educators, build capacity within the centre and create a warm, safe, and inspiring centre for children and families.
We are currently seeking someone who will excel in the day-to-day management of the centre and in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies and procedures:
- Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
- Ensure that high-quality Early Learning programs are delivered that inspire growth and learning.
- Manage staffing rosters efficiently.
- Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.
- Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.
- Actively attracting, converting, and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments, and orientations
Requirements:
- Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in children's well-being, development, and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum three years’ experience in the early childhood industry
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- First Aid, Child Protection, CPR, Anaphylaxis management and emergency management training qualification.
- Excellent proven written and verbal skills
- Sound financial management skills.
- Strong collaborative style and staff leadership and supervision experience
