The College is seeking Learning Support Assistants to work in the Junior School and / or Senior School.
Learning Support Assistants are employed on a 1 year fixed term contract basis with potential to extend the initial appointment into an ongoing position.
Junior School LSAs will support Junior School students, alongside teachers in the classroom. These roles include:
- Prep LSAs - 5 mornings per week during school term.
- Junior School LSAs - 3 to 4 days per week during school term.
These roles are 3 to 5 days per week from 8.00am to 3.45pm during school terms, commencing Term 1 2023.
The successful applicants will have an understanding of the educational, social and emotional needs of adolescents with special learning needs. They will be required to participate in monitoring the needs of students with learning disabilities and provide support for classroom teachers.
It is desirable that applicants have, or are studying towards obtaining, Certificate IV in Educational Support, or similar qualification or are studying towards a teaching qualification.
