The Campus:
The OneSchool Global Berwick Campus is situated in the small town of Officer. Over the last 10 years it has grown significantly, now providing students with state of the art, purpose-built learning facilities. Integrated with the latest educational technology supporting the ability to teach in a future-proof innovative space, the Campus boasts vibrant teaching areas for both primary and secondary students. Offering that small school atmosphere, our current student numbers total only 120 students.
The Position:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Student Support Officer or Learning Support Teacher to join our amazing Berwick team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Commencing Term 1 2024, this position will be responsible for running interventions for students, providing program support to teaching staff and coordinating our learning aides in both our primary and secondary departments from Years 3 to 12.
About You:
All applicants will need an excellent understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus and have extensive experience as a Student Support Officer with relevant qualifications.
in this role, you will be skilled in the ability to identify and evaluate student needs, differentiate instruction for students along all parts of the learning spectrum, collect, analyse and effectively utilise data, create and implement individualised education plans and be able to provide professional guidance to staff.
You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
