CQUniversity’s world-leading Aviation program has been developed in consultation with Qantas, Virgin, and Skytrans Airlines. We are currently seeking two Aviation Lecturers to conduct lectures, tutorials and workshops, and improve unit materials to ensure student knowledge is in line with industry trends. You will be responsible for supervising undergraduate students, including mentoring students to achieve learning goals. Our ideal candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and network with internal and external stakeholders.

Position Requirements
Postgraduate qualification in an Aviation-related discipline, or equivalent accreditation and standing
Demonstrated ability to teach aviation subjects (Part 61 Manual of Standards - Schedule 3) and supervise undergraduate University students
Ability to teach using online learning management systems
PhD, or willingness to undertake a PhD in an Aviation-related discipline (desirable)
Teaching qualification, or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (desirable)
Experience in curriculum development (desirable)
Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) (desirable)
Simulator Instructor Operational Rating with a Multi-Crew Pilot Training endorsement, or 142.040 instrument of approval to conduct MCC training (desirable)
Knowledge of Airline and Airport Operations (desirable).
