About the role
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative new suite of teacher education courses as a Lecturer in Creative Arts Education K-6. This is an education-focused role, and appointment will be made on a part-time, continuing basis. This role entails a dual focus on music and visual arts, with a strong emphasis on embracing technology. In this role, you will be working to contribute to the core activities in the teacher education degree programs.

About You
The ideal candidate to join our team will be a dynamic and dedicated professional who brings a rich blend of teaching, research, and leadership skills to the School. With a proven track record in providing high-quality, innovative teaching experiences in Creative Arts for primary school students, as the ideal candidate you should also possess a strong commitment to curriculum development and delivery through various modes, including online and flexible formats.
Successful applications should also have:
- A Postgraduate (Master's or higher) qualification in the area of Creative Arts Education.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, innovative teaching and learning experiences in Creative Arts for primary school students.
- Demonstrated experience with the development and delivery of tertiary curriculum and course materials for a variety of teaching modes including online and flexible delivery.
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of the NSW K-6 Creative Arts Syllabus, the NSW curriculum in general and understanding of contemporary issues, development and practices in Creative Arts Education.
- A record of successful creative work with primary school children in Creative Arts Education.
Remuneration/Salary
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $117,420 to $138,973 pa (Level B) - Lecturer (pro-rata for part-time employees)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (0.5FTE) and the appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
