Contribute to the teaching and development of Paramedicine at CDU 

About the Position
As a Lecturer – Paramedicine, you will contribute to the teaching and development of the discipline of Paramedicine at CDU to build on our reputation as an excellent education provider producing work ready graduates for the Paramedicine workforce. Through research, scholarship and teaching the role will foster excellence, expand knowledge, and practice in the Paramedicine discipline and contribute to improved student experience and outcomes. You will develop and teach units, utilising both on-campus and flexible-mode of teaching and learning support.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Post-graduate qualification in a related field or extensive relevant experience.
  • Registered or working towards registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings, discipline committees and the broader Faculty settings.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop subjects for mixed mode delivery.
  • Ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the profession in the region.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of practice in rural and remote areas.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cultural safety principles

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 - $130,649 (pro rata) per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 - $152,859 (pro rata) per annum, including 17% superannuation.
