Form of workSureVision is seeking LED Field Technicians on a casual basis with positions available in Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, Gold Coast & ACT for immediate start. In this role you will support all aspects of LED screen installations, pack downs, logistics, and maintenance at a broad variety of sporting & Live Events throughout Australia. This role could be ideal for tertiary students who are looking for regular evening and weekend work.
The role:
- Take delivery of assets on site at stadiums and install & cable LED screens ready for game-day events;
- Monitor the performance of LED screens during operation of events including fixing issues and faults;
- Safely and efficiently pack down temporary installations, ensuring that all assets are accounted for;
- Due to the nature of sporting & Live Events, you will be required to work evenings and week-ends; most of the work is from Thursday to Sunday;
- May need to travel for work at peak sports periods;
- Mostly outdoor work, with a physical element to the role which involves lifting LED panels and equipment.
To be successful in the role you will ideally have:
- Ideally, study or working in areas of LED screen, digital signage, A/V and/or electrician;
- Working in events or production;
- Strong verbal communication skills;
- Good work ethic;
- Be able to work well in a team environment, follow instructions;
- Some knowledge of computer systems and applications (Windows and Mac OS);
- Ability to work in different locations within the metropolitan area;
- Own vehicle (reimbursement subject to company policy).
Qualifications:
- Australian Driver’s License
- Study or Certificate Electrotechnology Electrician
- Study or Certificate in Computer Assembly and Repair and Electronics
- Study or Certificate in Live Production and Technical Services
