AddressOur client is a well known national law firm with offices across Australia.
A role as opened up in their TMT team, supporting one Partner, two special counsels, and their team. This partner works in the IP space with clients in health, pharmaceuticals and medical devices industries.
While this is an IP role, it is largely the litigious side so they'll need someone who knows their way around Court docs and briefs. You'll have experience managing diaries, inboxes and be naturally proactive.
This is a great role for an experience commercial litigation legal secretary looking to change things up, or someone with an interest in Life Sciences.
Key responsibilities:
- Diary management
- Travel arrangements
- Preparing Court documents and briefs
- Monthly billing and reporting
- End to end file management
- Advanced Word doc formatting
About you:
- 5+ years experience in commercial litigation (IP experience ideal)
- A degree or life science background a huge bonus, but not a dealbreaker
- Must have practice management software experience (Aderant preferred)
- Experience reporting using Excel advantageous
- You'll have managed Partner inboxes and calendars
- Proactive - you don't wait to be asked
- Good communication skills (and know how to use them)
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of team
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
