It's all about you...This 'not to be missed' opportunity suits a talented Legal Assistant seeking a role that is different to the norm and offers the flexibility of part time hours.
Our client is a leading law firm renowned for its commercially focused advice and outstanding service. This role sits within their IP Litigation team and will also involve working on Marketing and Business Development initiatives and collaborating with inter-state offices.
As such, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited) to:-
- type and format complex commercial agreements
- word processing (e.g. dicta-typing, copy typing, amending)
- prepare and collate court documents
- maintain files (hard copy and electronic)
- assist with managing schedules and key dates
- arrange travel
- monthly billing
- assist with creation of presentation materials and organising events
- collaborate and liaise with Legal Assistants and paralegals based in the firm's interstate offices.
To be considered for this role you will have at least 3 years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Intellectual Property Legal Secretary. You will also be able to demonstrate:-
- excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- well developed time management and ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
- high level of diplomacy and confidentiality
- advanced MS Office skills
- keen eye for detail
- ability to work effectively across support teams, departments and external stakeholders
