AddressLegal Assistant / Paralegal Wanted
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable candidate to provide legal support and assistance within our small, fast-paced, full-service practice. The role is a full-time position Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm at our Cowra, NSW office but part-time candidates will also be considered.
The Role:
- Provide administrative and legal support to the solicitors
- Manage administration of client files from open to close
- Undertake tasks using FilePro, PEXA and Infotrack
- Liaise directly with clients, business partners, service providers and other firms
- Produce correspondence and prepare court documents
- Prepare conveyancing documents, contracts, searches and submissions
- Provide administrative legal support as required
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient across Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Ability to time-manage and multitask while working to deadlines
- Enthusiastic attitude with initiative
- Friendly, mature, discreet demeanour
- Punctuality and reliability
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary/Paralegal (preferable)
- Previous experience in Probate and estate administration (advantageous)
- Drivers Licence and car (preferable)
Salary will be in accordance with Legal Services Award (2020) based on age, experience and ability. The position is available for immediate start.
