The Opportunity
Our client is searching for someone who is committed to supporting a busy Senior Lawyer with their day-to-day administration.
About you
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to remain poised under pressure along with strong administration skills. Defendant experience is essential.
Your Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- File and diary management
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Arranging meetings, conferences, mediation and medical appointments
- Liaison with clients, plaintiff lawyers, barristers and medical providers
- Accounts administration – invoice review, update and forwarding to compliance
- Preparation of briefs for hearings and mediations
- Work collaboratively with the Compliance Manager
- High level of experience as a legal admin, preferable in Personal Injury Defendant
- High level client service skills, organised, ability to prioritise, attentive to detail and take initiative with ability to work independently.
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
- Ability to manage upward & downward across team members
- Excellent communication skills
