About the role / sDue to our continued growth, we have a need for a Permanent fixed term Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator based at Glynde and multiple casual Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants at our Fullarton site. The Leisure and Lifestyle CoordinatorThis role ensures the provision of high quality service that enhance the well-being and satisfaction of all residents. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lifestyle programs, conducting thorough assessments and consultations, and collaborating with clinical staff to set and review individualised goals. The Coordinator also leads a team of Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers, manages resources and budgets, and maintains accurate documentation to ensure effective sharing of information and program delivery. The Leisure and Lifestyle AssistantsThese roles will report to the Lifestyle coordinator and work collaboratively with the Lifestyle team and care staff to contribute to healthy ageing programs and choice-based activities. You will provide assistance and support to consumers residing in the residential aged care facility by providing direct support to improve their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. You will be responsible for providing support to enhance resident participation and engagement in lifestyle activities and programs.A key part of these positions is recognising, respecting and responding to the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
