About the role
The Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and on-going coordination of the Leisure & Lifestyle program including:
- Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate various activities
- Provide a program which is flexible and able to respond to changing requirements
- Assist with the development and review of care plans
- Encourage consumer participation in social and physical activities
- Provide support & education to the Leisure & Lifestyle Team
What you bring to the role
- Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or willing to undertake qualification
- Relevant experience
- Excellent leadership / supervisory skills with the ability to lead a small team
- High level planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate to and interact with the elderly as well as staff at all levels within the organisation.
- A desire to create a positive experience for our consumers
- The ability to develop and mange a program providing meaningful activities and support for 136 residents.
