The Role:
As a Lending Services Officer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional internal and external service, assisting with all loan processing related tasks from loan input and verification, through to Mortgage preparation, funding and after care. We are transforming how we do things within the Team by leveraging our digital platforms and our energised team is seeking another Team Member to strengthen our numbers.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in processing of loan applications, contracts, and associated procedures
- Accurate data entry input
- Assist Lenders by completing post approval loan-related tasks ranging from checking loan documents to verification, right through to settlement and ongoing customer relations
- Provide instructions to our legal team for the preparation of Mortgage documents
- Manage electronic loan settlements via PEXA
- Liaise with Mortgage Brokers, Solicitors, Valuers and other external stakeholders
- Provide a timely response to requests from both internal and external stakeholders
About You:
You will have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment, along with the following criteria:
- Minimum 1 Year experience in the Finance Industry or similar
- Highly developed and effective communicator
- Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
- Well-developed computer and writing skills
- The ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
- A very high level of attention to detail
- Basic to intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite skills
The following will be highly regarded but are not essential:
- Previous exposure to lending, loan processing and/or perfection of documentation
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Existing Tier 2 qualification
The Opportunity:
This is a full-time position primarily based at our Head Office in East Maitland. The core hours and days are Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:15pm with flexibility able to be negotiated.
This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build upon their career in the Banking and Finance industry.
You will be provided with both initial and ongoing training to ensure that you are well equipped to deal with the new challenges presented by this role.
