Area9 provides IT support services to over 500 clients and has two Datacentres that provide a range of Cloud Services to clients using technologies from industry leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HP, Pure Storage and VMware.
We have positions available for experienced Level 1 and Level 2 SystemsEngineers in our head office located in Winnellie, NT.
Successful candidates will provide first and second level technical support via telephone and online support tools and provide onsite/desk side support to our valued clients.
Experience required:
- Minimum 2-3 years of IT desktop support experience in Windows Desktop environments.
- Some Server support experience (Windows 2012-2019).
- A solid understanding of computer, network and internet technologies.
- Incident management at first and second level with troubleshooting capability.
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or call centre environment working with telephony and job logging software.
- Demonstrated experience in Customer service.
- Customer Management Skills.
- Queue Management Skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Demonstrated time management skills, ability to manage competing priorities and follow processes.
Qualifications
You will need a relevant qualification such as:
- Certificate 3 and/or 4 in Information Technology
- ITIL Foundation Certification or similar industry qualification
- A Degree or Diploma in IT
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Microsoft Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA) or Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
