All IT Solutions is looking to expand the team with a Level 1 Service Desk Technician.
We are a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) looking for a passionate Service Desk Technician to become a part of our collaborative team.
As a Service Desk Technician, you (and your team) are responsible for the IT environment of many clients. Your role as a Service Desk Technician will cover everything from networking to server technologies, to cloud platforms, to cyber security. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a little more than 'turning it on and off again' (but we can't rule this out!). You'll have a knack for problem solving and a technical mind, as well as become a customer service champion!
This is a junior role and the opportunity for growth is entirely in your hands. You will be exposed to a wide range of technologies and concepts, providing a rich environment for learning. Structured learning opportunities will also be offered for systems that we provide to our clients. Progression within the company and advancement in your career will occur organically as you grow and develop your skills.
You will be required to drive to work so that you can occasionally attend client sites.
You will need to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
Our office hours are 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday-Friday with incidental out of hours work.

Technical requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of basic IT concepts, including:
- Networking
- Server technologies
- Desktop systems
- Microsoft operating systems and applications
- Cloud technologies.
- Cyber security best practices
Your duties:
- Coordinate and implement client projects
- Implement cyber security measures to keep our clients secure
- Assist with help desk calls relating to network, PC and application issues
- Help build client environments (servers, workstations, routers etc.)
- Attend client sites for technical work
- Research and implement new technologies
What makes you a great candidate?
Having worked in a similar role (either for yourself or another MSP) and love working with people. You may also have IT projects that you work on in your spare time at home (or elsewhere) that contribute to your evolving IT skillset.
