Position: Desktop Support Officer
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Work Schedule:
- Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO)
- Monday to Friday

Role and Responsibilities:
- Utilise ServiceNow for ticket management
- Assist with incident management and request fulfilment
- Address and resolve basic incidents and requests received via phone, email, and our ticketing systems
- Manage service queues using the department’s service management tool
- Perform Windows 10 and Office 365 system administration
- Provide basic user training
- Offer application support including Office 2016
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base
- Compile and troubleshoot issues before escalating to Tier 2/3 teams
- Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in a diverse cultural workplace and build strong relationships with peers
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Office 365 administration
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deliver basic user training
- Experience with application support, particularly Office 2016
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Ability to manage service queues and prioritise tasks
- Commitment to customer service excellence
- Capability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
