Join Our Team as an ICT Support Assistant! 

Position Title: Level 1 Helpdesk Support

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Requirement: Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Level 1 Helpdesk Support for a temporary 3-month contract. This position requires a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.

2. Assist users with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

3. Respond promptly to service requests and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution or escalation as needed.

4. Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate records of user issues and resolutions.

5. Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as required.

6. Conduct basic network troubleshooting and assist with connectivity issues.

7. Assist with user account management, including password resets and account provisioning.

8. Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues and escalate problems to higher-level support when necessary.

9. Assist with IT inventory management, including tracking and maintaining equipment and supplies.

10. Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT tasks and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role preferred.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Working knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.

- Basic understanding of networking concepts.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
