The Level 3 Inpatient Senior Physiotherapist is responsible for ensuring the provision of highest quality evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients across all inpatient wards including medical, surgical, high dependency, pre-admission clinics and Emergency Department within Auburn hospital. They are responsible for applying advanced reasoning skills, operating autonomously especially in dealing with client groups and circumstances of a complex nature.The position will be responsible for supervision of junior physiotherapists, allied health assistants and physiotherapy students, and is responsible for contributing to the planning, implementation, evaluation, improvement and reporting of the physiotherapy service at the facility level.Benefits of working for Western Sydney Local Health District:

- Registration: AHPRA Physiotherapist Registration
- Demonstrated knowledge in cardiorespiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions, with substantial postgraduate experience in the acute care setting.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in clinical supervision and teaching of staff and students.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including networking, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, computer literacy and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply independent professional judgement whilst working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and experience in leading and developing Quality Improvement initiatives and implementing Evidence Based practice.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of clinical physiotherapy policies and procedures and/or guidelines.
