Job Description:
As a Level 3 Microsoft 365 Support Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, efficiency and optimisation of our clients' Microsoft 365 environments. Your primary responsibility will be administering and supporting Exchange, alongside providing top-tier support for Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain and support Microsoft Exchange environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance;
- Provide Level 3 support for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, resolving complex issues and delivering solutions to enhance user experience;
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services;
- Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams to streamline processes and improve incident resolution times;
- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence;
- Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients;
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures;
- Stay current with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients; and
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Level 3Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Exchange administration. This includes using Mimecast for email filtering / spam;
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive;
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in Microsoft 365 environments;
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, Active Directory and Azure AD;
- Experience working with ID Management within M365 and bonus points for experience working with Okta;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, or similar are highly desirable; and
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
