An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist/hand therapist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. This position works within a team of therapists providing hand therapy services for acute trauma, and to tertiary level specialist clinics for Upper Limb management.
Days of work need to include Friday, other days by negotiation.
The Level 3 Occupational Therapist will contribute at an advanced level to:
- Planning, development and evaluation of occupational therapy services.
- Development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures and practice guidelines for patient care.
- Liaison with community based services relevant to the patient population.

- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Significant postgraduate experience relevant to the identified clinical position
- Demonstrated advanced level of clinical skills relevant to the identified clinical position
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, time management skills and proven success in multidisciplinary team settings
- Demonstrated ability to meet supervision needs of students and/or less experienced staff
- Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and evaluation of service delivery improvement activities
- Drivers Licence
