Form of workThis is an exciting opportunity to join the market leading Sedgwick Liability Team as a Liability Adjuster either as a trainee or somebody with a few years experience that wants to progress their career to the next level. Fast track your career either in a technical capacity or with an eye on future management, with the support of the world's largest loss adjusting firm.
What are my accountabilities?
- Attend upon policyholders, claimants and incident scenes to investigate liability insurance claims.
- Proactive communication with the client and customer about initial findings and potential solutions
- Ability to manage claims and stakeholders and to drive outcomes
- To have the customer and client at the centre of everything you do
About you:
- Have either experience or desire to start a career in Liability Adjusting
- Previous experience in general loss adjusting or sound insurance claims handling background will be considered
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles and procedures for processing insurance claims
- Knowledge of claims regulations and legislations
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Keen eye for detail, problem solving and analysing skills
- Have a growth mindset
- Legal or Trade Qualifications are advantageous
