Deliver a range of services and client assistance in support of teaching, learning and research at Charles Darwin University (CDU)
About the Position
As a Library Services Officer, you will deliver a range of frontline services, and client assistance in support of teaching, learning and research. Working across a variety of services you’ll actively contribute to the management and improvement of processes to meet client needs and your duties will include:
- Assisting clients to use a range of information resources and services, library spaces, technologies and platforms
- Answering client enquiries and resolving or referring problems relating to Library Services, resources and facilities.
- Providing efficient client focused service to ensure Library Services meet operational and strategic targets
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Diploma/Certificate IV in library studies or other relevant field with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality, client-focused services to internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems using a creative service-orientated approach and track record in implementing, reviewing, and improving work processes and practices.
- Broad understanding of the application of information technology to Library Services and use of online resources and demonstrated experience with library information management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently with supervision

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 to $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 to $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
