About the opportunity
As our new Executive Manager Library & Family Services, you will be accountable and responsible for the overall management, compliance and service delivery of the Library and Family Services area. You will be expected to deliver on outcomes as identified in the strategic directions and associated metrics. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team this position is expected to contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic directions, City of Darwin's policies and procedures and ensures organisational effectiveness, agility, and compliance.
Who are we looking for?
You're a natural-born leader, a mentor and an advocate. You're also thorough, a meticulous planner, and have an innate ability to solve problems without feeling overwhelmed. You're no stranger to the Library / Community Services sectors and have at least 5 years' senior management experience. And your Bachelor of Library Information Studies, Community Services or equivalent relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
