The Library Services Specialist is a key role within our team in supporting learning activities within the Junior School, cross-campus library support as well as being involved with the day-to-day life of Trinity Grammar.
If you have a keen interest in encouraging connection and promoting learning through reading and research, and love to organise things then this may be the role for you. Your creative side will be ignited through the organisation and promotion of participating in Library events such as book week, Library Lovers Day, Author readings and content creation for our social media platforms, creating displays, and so on. Your well-developed knowledge and administrative skills will be stimulated through developing our physical and digital collections, readers’ advisory, supporting teachers and perhaps even facilitating lessons (research and reference help, information literacy, critical thinking skills etc.). Your interest in books will go a long way in helping us enhance our collection as well as serve as a great tool in helping our students develop their love of reading.
Working in partnership with the Teacher Librarian, this role is responsible for the administration aspects pertaining to the day-to-day operations of the Library including stocktakes, ordering, accessioning and covering resources.
