The Opportunity
Our MinRes Air team is seeking experienced and qualified Licensed Aircraft Engineers.
The main purpose of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is to support the safe flying operations, utilizing their specialised training and knowledge.
Co-ordination of day of operations maintenance functions both scheduled and un-scheduled ensuring the best performance of the MinRes Air fleet. Proactively working to ensure engineering support functions such as spare parts, tooling, ground support equipment etc. are maintained in a serviceable condition.
For this position you will be located at our MinRes Air Perth terminal office and report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring safe and efficient completion of all required maintenance tasks in accordance with Operator, OEM documentation and CASA regulations.
- Complying with MinRes Air’s safety management system
- Responsible for the oversight and certification of AME’s work
- Proactively manage and troubleshoot open discrepancies
- Ensure timely and effective communications with all stakeholders regarding maintenance issues
What is Required?
- Hold a current CASA part 66 1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
- Type rated on the Airbus A320 / V2500 / CFM56
- Demonstrated meticulous approach to safety and regulatory compliance attention to detail, coupled with strong problem-solving skills to address complex maintenance issues effectively
- Sound knowledge of current CASA regulations
- Minimum 3 years licenced on or working with the A320/A330 aircraft
- Experienced in engine boroscope/engine ground running advantageous
- Experience in remote working
About MinRes AIR
MinRes Air is the newly formed internal flights department or Mineral Resources providing air charter services from a dedicated MinRes Perth Terminal directly to our site operations, to support our Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) Operations.
MinRes Air will provide complete flight flexibility to respond to MinRes’ requirements to facilitate optimum staff rosters and additional flight capacity for construction and organic growth.
Dedicated aircraft fleet, terminals, ground handling and maintenance facilities (staged), all of which are controlled by MinRes Air and managed by MinRes to provide a complete end to end process
