Licensed Plumber with Type A gas fitting

An opportunity exists for a Plumber with a Type A Gas Servicing Licence to join our Team as a subcontractor multiple days per week.

You will be provided with everything required. All your daily work will be scheduled for you, the clients will know you are coming and you will enjoy office support every moment of the day as you are completing the days work.

To be successful, you will have:

• Type A Gas Service Licence (Victoria)
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Be willing to travel (200km radiance)
• Flexible with work hours between the hours of 8am-4pm.
• Be presentable, well-spoken and take pride in the position
• Fit and able to climb up and down ladders several time per day.
• Ability to use a tablet device for reporting purposes (preferably apple products)
• Note: A Federal Police Check which will be conducted prior to commencement

About this role:

• This roll offers flexibility but also required work must be complete within a certain time frame. You will be required to work both independently and in a team environment depending on the job.
• Each shift will include a run sheet of properties for you to attend. You will conduct an inspection, perform maintenance, and record details. Tools and vehicle provided. All data is recorded via mobile device to a database.
• You will be performing safety inspections on residential properties which includes but is not limited to the following;
• Check installation & service all landlord supplied gas appliances
• Check installation of LPG cylinders and associated gas components
• Conduct A gas combustion spillage test to identify if carbon monoxide is present
• Negative Pressure Test Conducted
• Manage gas appliance quotations
• Conducting smoke alarm checks, blind safety checks and split system cleaning
