An exciting opportunity for a LICENSEE to take the reins of the operation of a Locals Pub in the Woolloomooloo / Kings Cross area.
The pub is an established venue trading in an historic building with a focus on serving the local community.
We are looking for a committed and hands-on Licensee/Hotel Manager who loves what they do.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the venue's offering and team.
The pub has one bar, 15 Gaming Machines, and a simple food offering.
Capacity: 199
License: 24hrs although operating hours adjusted.
The role will have you managing all aspects of your business, driving improvement in people, product and service, licensing compliance and operations with insight to financial results.
As a Licensee you are the backbone to our business.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Ensure Liquor License compliance;
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Hotel, including management of the team and implementation of operating procedures;
- Maintain a focus on customer service and generating revenue;
- Be responsible for the management of the pubs What's On including bookings;
- Be a hands-on front of house focused Leader, who can train, motivate and inspire their team;
- Adopt effective stock management, in charge of ordering and maintaining supplier relationships;
- Have strong understanding of the venues cash handling procedures and ability to undertake daily sales report;
- Update Promotions & Specials including price management;
- Manage Social Media accounts including regular content posting and distribution of marketing content;
- Have full Working Rights in Australia.
The salary range is negotiable with the opportunity for upside tied to KPI’s resulting in bonuses and long term incentives.
