We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated full-time (Mon - Fri) Lifestyle and EventsTeam Member to join our close-knit supportive lifestyle team.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, and caring Lifestyle and EventsTeam Member to join our team in a part-time position. In this role you will help design and facilitate a variety of meaningful events designed to focus on the individual needs of the residents. In this Job you can make a real and positive impact on the day to day lives of our residents.
About the role
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Develop, implement, and participate in lifestyle activities based on the residents needs to enhance their lives physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and culturally.
- Provide safe and effective activities and services that optimize the resident’s independence, health, well-being, and quality of life
- Complete accurate and comprehensive documentation of resident participation and engagement levels
- To work with the lifestyle team and manager to provide relevant information for care planning reviews.
- Designing and participating in one-on-one individualized activities that promotes each resident emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being
What we are looking for:
- Cert IV in Leisure and health or equivalent experience (highly preferable)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current NDIS Screeners Check- or willingness to obtain one.
- Proof of vaccinations – Covid and Influenza
- Diversional Therapy or Lifestyle experience in an Aged Care Facility (desirable)
- Tech Savvy with all social media and review apps
- Highly experienced in word and excel with strong computer literacy and the ability to learn how to use PCS aged Care Software
- Proof of right to work in Australia
