Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS) is a medium-sized rural health service that delivers a range of programs and services including acute, subacute, residential aged care and allied and primary health care services. KDHS has three campuses located in the townships of Kyabram, Stanhope and Tongala.

About the Role
KDHS has a beautifully refurbished and refreshed Aged Care centre (Sheridan) and are now ready to provide our residents with a bigger and better Lifestyle Program. Therefore an opportunity is available within the Lifestyle Group Program to assist in the delivery of group programs with a focus on enhancing individual goals through proactive person centred care.
The position requires a passionate, caring and supportive team player who holds a minimum qualification of Cert IV Lifestyle and Leisure. Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to work with our elderly residents and their families.
About You
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/ Lifestyle and Leisure or Aged Care/Disability.
- Previous experience within a Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator position desirable
- Enthusiastic and dedicated approach to working closely with resident’s and families
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and manage a team.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Ability to follow direction and work within the Residential Care team and community environment.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, courteous and customer focus, giving due regard to customer and KDHS values.
- Current knowledge of Infection Control practices and policies
