The Role
At Infin8 care, the role of a Lifestyle Coordinator / Diversional Therapist is highly visible and plays a key role in meeting our residents’ daily needs.
As a member of facility leadership team, the Lifestyle Coordinator / Diversional Therapist is responsible for a team of Lifestyle Assistants who work closely with members of the clinical, administration, allied health, volunteer, and hospitality teams to encourage and enable individual residents to remain independent and to participate in a wide variety of meaningful activities that supports their needs, wishes and interest, while promoting their quality of life
The ability to “think on your feet”, communicate, with, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and lead others is essential, as is the desire to making the most of the personal and professional development opportunities we offer.
About You
At Infin8care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector, you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values have strong communication skills, be computer literate and a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,
- A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Diversional Therapy
- A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or have the ability to get one)
- An immunisation record of COVID-19 Vaccine
