Our Home

Located in Heathfield in the centre of the picturesque Adelaide Hills. Our Home offers all levels of permanent, respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to our General Manager, you will provide leadership and quality management within our Lifestyle Services Team to ensure our home operates efficiently and effectively in providing Living and Lifestyle experiences and services for our residents and families.

Key accountabilities include:

• Creating and implementing innovative and dynamic lifestyle program of individual and group activities and services
• Building and managing a team of Volunteers
• Encouraging customer feedback and take action. Creating customer advocacy.
• Be able to drive a bus (bus licence not required, training provided – 10 seater bus)

This is a full time opportunity working across Monday – Friday.

About You

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Minimum requirement Cert III (Aged Care / Disability)
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (desirable)
• Experience working with a range of cognitive and physical abilities
• Knowledge and understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Flu Vaccination Certificate for 2022 (mandatory)
• COVID and Booster Certificate (mandatory)
• Current drivers licence
• Safe driving record
