You will work in collaboration with the Community Care Services Manager, our HR, Rostering, finance and Home Care Coordinator team, and our Clinical Services Manager.Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the recruitment, retention, and development of the care workforce
- Lead and manage the Care Worker team to ensure quality outcomes for clients.
- Work with the Rostering lead to ensure efficient allocation of staff to meet client needs.
- Ensure compliance with SCHADS award, relevant standards and St Louis policy.
- Engage regularly with care workers by organising and attending monthly care worker meetings.
- Coordinate training sessions for care workers and train them during induction.
- Work across St Louis sites including Marryatville and Victor Harbor
- Performance management of care workers.
- Experience in a similar leadership role with a sound knowledge of contemporary Community Service delivery.
- Experience in an aged care or disability environment will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- A willingness to adapt in a busy work environment
- Have a high level of Empathy and Patience

- National Police Clearance (No older than 2 years old)
- Current driver’s license, comprehensive insurance, and current motor vehicle registration.
- Able to work between 09:00 am - 05:00pm – Monday to Friday
- Certificate 4 in Frontline Management or equivalent experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/Office) and Outlook
