P. R. King & Sons is a long-established company is an Australian leader in the ‘Inclinator’ and lift sector throughout Australia. Our specialty range includes electric lift chairs for staircases and home elevators, as well as indoor and outdoor disabled access wheelchair lifts.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Lift Technician to join our Team, based in Brisbane or Gold Coast. To install, repair, fault find and service various types of lifts, including platform lifts, inclined wheelchair lifts, inclinator, stairlifts and home lifts. As a Lift Technician, you will ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard, and that all lifts are operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- To install, repair, breakdowns and service various types of lifts, including platform lifts, inclined wheelchair lifts, inclinator, stairlifts and home lifts.
- Conduct regular inspections of lifts to identify any faults or issues and perform necessary repairs or maintenance work.
- Respond to call-outs in a timely and efficient manner and conduct necessary repairs to ensure the lift is back in operation as quickly as possible.
- Liaise with customers to provide advice and guidance on lift maintenance, repair, service and installation.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all work conducted, including maintenance schedules and repair reports.
- Conduct QTP role
- On-Call requirements as necessary
- Sign off apprentices.
Requirements:
- Electrical licence (required)
- QTP or willing to gain QTP licence
- White card
- Lift industry-trained, with good fault-finding capabilities highly regarded.
- Experience in the testing, adjustment and advanced fault finding on a wide range of lift equipment electric and hydraulic is highly regarded.
- Self-starter who can work efficiently both independently and within a team.
- Valid driving license.
SALARY
The salary range is such that it will satisfy the best candidates. Overtime is available with penalty rates applying.
