What’s involved?
Working in the workshop, you will find yourself working under close supervision of qualified mechanics being responsible for tyre maintenance, general mechanical repairs, servicing and routine maintenance. You will work alongside a small support team and report to the Workshop Manager.
This role is a full-time 4 year Apprenticeship and will typically see you carry out the following duties in your first year:
- Repair, replace and balance tyres
- Source and fit tyres
- Greet customers
- Clean and maintain the workshop
- Assist where required in moving vehicles
About you:
You will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and work collaboratively with others. Our ideal candidate will also have the following:
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Time management skills
- Mechanically minded (Certificate 2 in Automotive highly desirable)
The recruitment process will include basic aptitude testing and reference checks.
