Located in greater Hobart this Local Government organisation is seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic for a casual contract.
Your new role
You will work with a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and buses. You will be working on different automotive systems and will be using diagnostic tools to identify problems.
You’ll also be performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles.
- Experience in performing routine maintenance on vehicles
- Forklift Licence
- Ability to meet deadlines and ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
