Are you experienced in projects and looking for your next challenge? Council has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take a supporting role in the development and delivery of the Trail of Light and Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra exhibitions by the internationally celebrated artist Bruce Munro.
Position Objectives The officer will be responsible for:
Provision of contract and project management functions to LightState projects.
Co-ordination of reporting, acquittals, and all financial processes relevant to LightState projects.
Provision of administration support to programming and project management activities
Coordination of routine dashboard reports for the capital project delivery for Trail of Lights and Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra (FOSO). Assist with implementation of continuous improvement approach for the LightState project.
Qualifications and Experience Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field OR less formal qualifications with substantial experience in a relevant field.
Substantial experience in a contracts and projects environment with a focus on budget monitoring and programming
Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
High level customer service skills and experience Experience in managing competing priorities and reporting requirements within nominated timeframes.
Salary and Conditions The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $90,876.24 to $98,943.00 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
