We have multiple permanent opportunities for skilled Linespersons and Live Line Linespersons to join our Overhead/Underground team located in Rockhampton.

Remuneration:

• Linesperson - from $97,005 per annum + 12.75% superannuation.
• Live Line Linesperson - from $106,606 per annum + 12.75% superannuation.

About the role:
As a Linesperson/Live Line Linesperson, you will:

• Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, or
• Be trade qualified with a Queensland Live Line authorisation.
• Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.
• Perform Live Line methodology on Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) networks.

About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:

• Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
• Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
• Availability for call out and emergency work.
• Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
• Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.

You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical or respond to pre-employment medical questions as part of the selection process.
