LITIGATION LAWYER
2-4 years PAE - Full time position - immediate start
The Role
We are looking for bright, motivated and enthusiasm lawyer to join our fast growing litigation practice.
You will work closely with our professional and collaborative litigation team to a range of complex litigation and dispute resolution matters, including commercial disputes, estate litigation, family law dispute and resolution.
Our firm is expanding our office overseas, you will be flexible in working at our oversea offices in future.
General Requirements:
- Attention to details
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Competence in managing your own litigation files from commencement to settlement
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong drafting skill
- Ability to communicate with clients for whom English is a second language
- Fluency in languages other than English, particularly Mandarin and Cantonese, will be a significant advantage.
- Experience and proficiency in using LEAP
Essential Requirements:
- Admission as a legal practitioner in the state of Queensland
- 2 to 4 years Post-Admission Experience (PAE), preferably within Civil Litigation, Wills & Estates and Family Law legal area
- Sound knowledge in UCPR and associated legislation
- Ability to run a variety of litigation matters across Magistrates Courts, District and Supreme Courts and the Federal Court of Australia
- Have a willingness to learn and stretch yourself
- Experience and proficiency in using LEAP
- Flexible in working at our oversea offices
