Our client is a founding member of a growing property investment and management group with a large asset base where it is managed by a small, integrated team. This role is to ensure that the primary residence of our client is effectively managed by establishing that it is well maintained and organised to a high standard in a secure manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regular diary planning and working with the client to ensure any entertaining in the home is well organised and supported
- Coordinating the cleaning with the Housekeeper/Cleaner staff shared with one of the other family residences
- When necessary, provide the safety net cleaning and tiding the house (if others not available)
- Supervision of the house when the client travels, inclusive of being a point of contact for security monitoring company
- Increased attention at times where the client is unwell and sleeping over from time to time (separate accommodation available on site).
- Ensure medication is well managed and coordinated
- Co-ordinating with client regarding menus for the week and the shopping requirements and undertaking the food shopping as agreed
- Preparing the table when visitors are coming and co-ordinating outside catering
- Cleaning and tidying up the home after visitors, and where required co-ordinating the services of other providers to do so (i.e. usual gardener/cleaner etc.)
- Daily/Weekly routines of light cleaning, bed making and tidying and back up for regular cleaner if away of bathrooms and kitchen area
About You:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping/caretaker role, within private residences is essential.
- Excellent time management, strong organisational skills along with attention to detail.
- Patient, warm and welcoming character.
- Predisposition to respecting the wishes of client in regard to the way they wants things done.
- Solid experience in providing cooking support for a family.
- Hospitality background preferred, not essential.
- Driver’s License required.
- Working with Children clearance required (due to contact with grandchildren and great-grandchildren).
- Police Check required.
- First Aid preferred.
- Standard Food Handling Certificates preferred.
- Available on site are separate private quarters for the Housekeeper/Coordinator to live in (essential).
