In this ‘hands on” role you will be reporting to the Livestock Manager. You will be involved in a range of farm operations, the main responsibilities will include livestock management such as feeding, cleaning, penning and receiving cattle. Other duties may include operation of modern plant & machinery, implementation of new farming technology as well as day-to-day activities such as infrastructure maintenance.
Successful candidates are hired as casual employees across a Tuesday to Friday day-shift, with a requirement to be able to work Saturdays as overtime. The shift commences at 07:00 and ends at 18:00 on weekdays.
Essential traits that successful candidates must have are reliability, good attitude, honesty, good numeracy and writing skills. Plus a current drivers license and reliable transport.
