About the Role:
Schulte’s currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team.
To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for exceptional customer service and sales, be highly organised with outstanding communication.
The primary purpose of this role is to source, and efficiently manage business contracts and sales with focus on building financial growth and strategic commercial partnerships.
This is a full-time Sales Executive role. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business and sales by building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and visits.
You will also be responsible for maximizing sales through negotiating contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and increasing market share.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, especially in the smallgoods segment.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to meet clients.
- Proven sales experience in either retail or foodservice channels.
- New Business development.
- Data analytics.
- A proven ability to drive sales performance through retail strategies.
- Ability to strategize, analyse, and optimize operational processes.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing business.
- Tertiary Qualifications desirable.
Key Tasks:
- Develop customer segmentation model featuring pillars for sustainable growth.
- Ascertain profitability around range and requirement.
- Develop potential for specific product development.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of a Marketing plan.
- Generate new business and growth via sales at ground root level to KPI’s provided.
- Generate National Sales opportunities for distribution growth.
- Provide feedback to the business of New Business Development opportunities including contract opportunities, customer product requirements, new products, range rationalisation.
