About the role
We are on the lookout for a Casual Night Manager to join our team at UniLodge @ La Trobe University - Bendigo. Resident safety is a top priority for our frontline operations teams. As Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of residents and overall management and responsibility of the property during the overnight hours.
In your role, you will gain exposure to a range of tasks and responsibilities including:
- Monitoring building security and safety; performing perimeter checks and resolving issues or emergencies that arise while on duty.
- Carrying out administration tasks including maintaining records, processing payments, audit, reporting, etc.
- Effective incident management during night shift, including grievances and conflict resolution.
- Act as a support to the residents to form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information, and welfare.
- Respond to residents calls about noise or disturbances within the building, and lock outs.
- Attend appropriate training and mandatory staff meetings when required.
Our mandatory requirements include:
- Valid Working Rights in Australia and New Zealand
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
