This is a full-time position based in Western Sydney.
THE ROLE
You will assemble medical device kits that include orthopaedic implants, surgical tools and instrumentation. Once assembled, these kits are sent to the hospital to be used during patient surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Meticulously assemble orthopaedic kits for pre-planned and emergency surgeries.
- Receive and inspect the returned instruments and tools to make sure they are safe to be reissued.
- Maintain stock & kit documentation – order acknowledgements, checklists, usage sheets, packing slips and delivery notes.
- Liaise with Surgeons and the Medical Device Sales Team to ensure that the kits meet requirements.
- Be flexible with your working hours.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written).
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
