The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for Lobby Lounge Head Host to join the team on a Part-Time basis!
JOB SUMMARY

The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven an experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual to be the welcoming face of our Signature Lounge and Bar. The Signature Lounge and Bar will be offering an all-day menu, along with an elegant, elevated high tea experience. Your main responsibilities will be to lead the lounge and bar host/hostess team, ensure high customer satisfaction in the lounge by anticipating and fulfilling the needs of our guests. To build strong personalized rapport with both internal and external guest, and supporting the team as needed. Assist management team to hire, train, coach and empower talent for continuous growth and consistency in service quality.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 3-years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant experience, especially using table management system (e.g., sevenrooms, open table)
- Strong organization & communication skills required for this role.
- Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.
