SalaryDennis Transport, an innovative transport company that prides itself on providing quality service is seeking an experienced Driver with an unrestricted Heavy Combination (HC) licence to join their local team in Wingfield.
This casual position starting at 5 – 7am offers 35 – 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work and offers above award pay rates.
The position is fast paced and requires a can-do attitude with attention to detail and the capacity for manual lifting.
Duties will include:
- Safely operate a truck to provide local pickup and deliveries of refrigerated and general freight.
- Load and unload freight manually and/or with a forklift.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Complete required documentation in relation to freight handling.
To be considered for this position candidates will need to:
- Hold a current unrestricted Heavy Combination (HC) driver’s licence (minimum 2 years’ experience).
- Be able available for early starts.
- Be fit to undertake manual handling duties.
- Have a good work ethic and attention to detail.
- Have good customer service and communication skills.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience in the transportation and delivery of freight and holds a current forklift licence or has a willingness to obtain licencing.
The successful applicant must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to provide a criminal and drivers licence history check and undergo pre-employment drug & alcohol screening.
