Locomotive Fitter who will be required to carry out the safe execution of scheduled maintenance and repair to a range of locomotive's supporting Fortescue's rail operations with particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.Our lifestyle roster means that you can balance your work and family life. Key Responsibilities- Maintenance of EMD and GE locomotives.
- Diagnostics & fault finding
- SAP data entry
- Workshop duties as required.
- Work in conjunction with all rollingstock maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.
- Ensure FMG and site operations procedures and policies are followed.
- Adapting to new technologies
Qualifications and Experience- Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Previous experience working on locomotives.
- Strong commitment to safety.
