AddressWe are seeking the services of FACEMs for coverage in a Tasmania Hospital for the below dates. Shift times are 07.45 - 17.15 and 1400 - 2330 plus on-call to 0800.
Ongoing locum work is available at this location.
Please note that interstate Doctors may be required to quarantine for 14 days prior to the assignment if an exemption cannot be granted.
Dates
- 24th to 25th August 2020
- 27th August to 1st September 2020
- 5th to 7th September 2020
- 9th to 13th September 2020
- 14th to 19th September 2020
Rate
$2800 per day inclusive of on-call and call back plus travel, accommodation allowance and car hire
Hospital and location
A modern 160 bed secondary level hospital providing emergency and specialist services to North West Tasmania and King Island. It offers services in medical, surgical and allied health through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital caters for the emergency resuscitation, surgery and intensive care of most trauma patients and other medical conditions.
The Emergency Department has an annual attendance rate of 27,600 patients per year with a 28% admission rate. The Department treats a broad range of patients including major trauma cases.
Tasmania's most westerly city on an undeniably beautiful coastline, this location is famous for it's cheese and whisky. A fantastic base to explore Cradle Mountain, King Island and quaint fishing villages while experiencing the very best of Tasmania produce and wine.
